This is an exciting time at Wentworth. The acquisition of Wentworth Woodhouse, stables and gardens by the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust generates significant interest and creates opportunities for many.
Yet Wentworth is far more than a single house. It is also a vibrant community with a thriving local economy set within a beautiful landscape rich in heritage. The Fitzwilliam Wentworth Estate has played a major part in its past and present and in 2019 formed a strategic team to consider its activities and future plans and objectives.
Balancing increasing interest in the area with the needs of the existing community has been key to the creation of this document which provides an insight into the Estate and sets out our vision for a shared future for Wentworth as a great place for everyone.
