Dog Kennel Pond
Fishery
Wentworth Fisheries is one of Yorkshire’s most renowned season ticket coarse fisheries offering a wonderful leisure experience within stunning surroundings.
Situated in a shallow tributary valley of the River Don, Wentworth Fisheries make use of a string of serpentine lakes extending to over 47 acres within the 18th Century parkland landscape surrounding the magnificent Wentworth Woodhouse. This area of high landscape value has been subject to recent restoration works recapturing stunning views across and along the valley.
There are three principal lakes offering top quality sport for pleasure and carp anglers alike, each with different specimens to target.

A syndicate carp lake in the heart of the Estate with spectacular views and dedicated parking. The lake stretches over 14 acres with Islands, reed lined margins and a boathouse. A new stocking programme started in 2010 and there is more homegrown carp to follow in the coming seasons.
